    DIY Bath Bomb Recipes with Essential oils, a natural and healthy alternative to store-bought chemical-laden bath products.

    These DIY bath bomb recipes are perfect for a relaxing soak before bed. Whether you are looking to breath a little deeper, sleep a little sounder, or ease the aches and pains of a long work week, there's a DIY bath bomb recipe for it. Quick and easy to make, and best of all, they are all natural, non-toxic, and chemical free. The essential oils in these recipes will provide long lasting, amazing therapeutic benefits.

     

    DIY Bath bomb recipes with essential oils:

    Relaxation Recipe:

    • 20 drops Lavender essential oil
    • 10 drops Peace and Calming essential oil (I use this brand)
    • Optional - Dried lavender buds (get them here)

    Respiratory Recipe:

    • 15 drops Peppermint essential oil
    • 10 drop Eucalyptus essential oil
    • 5 drops Lemon essential oil
    • Optional - lemon zest

    Muscle Rub:

    • 15 drops Peppermint essential oil
    • 10 drops Rosemary Essential oil
    • 5 drops Tangerine essential oil
    • Optional - Dried rosemary leaves (get them here)

    DIY Bath Bomb Recipe with Essential Oils

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • bath bomb molds (get them here)
    • ½ cup baking soda
    • ¼ cup citric acid ( I use this brand)
    • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
    • ¼ cup epsom salt (I use this brand)
    • 20-30 drops essential (from the recipes above)
    • Spray bottle of distilled water
    • 1-2 tablespoons dried flower buds (optional)

    Instructions

    To Make

    1. In a glass bowl, combine the baking soda, citric acid, and epsom salt, and mix well.
    2. Melt the coconut oil and add it to the mixture.
    3. Add the essential oils, and flowers, if using. Mix well to combine.
    4. Spray the mixture with water until it is damp enough to hold the shape, but not wet.
    5. Transfer the mixture to the molds.
    6. Set aside to dry for 24 hours.
    7. Store the bath bombs in an airtight container.
